Do you have to have reservations to dine at Chef Mickey and Be our Guest? Will they allow walk ups? Did not make my dining reservations 180 days out.

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Carlton!

Guests visiting the Walt Disney World Resort not only get to experience the most magical theme parks in the world, but the dining options at Disney are pretty spectacular as well! I love experiencing a new restaurant with each visit. My family has their favorites, but throughout the years, we’ve added favorites to our list by trying out new places. It’s always a pixie-dusted dining adventure!

Carlton, advanced dining reservations are highly recommended. Because availability is limited, many of the restaurants on property will get booked up early. But if you were unable to secure a spot for a restaurant on your wish list, keep trying back. Sometimes guests overbook their reservations and will change plans, creating last minute availability as close as 24-hours prior to the reservation dates. So, I strongly encourage you to continue checking back and to be flexible with your plans. You might stumble upon an early dinner or late breakfast reservation that might allow you to lock in those highly coveted spots at restaurants like Be Our Guest and Chef Mickey’s.

As far as walking up, you can try, but there are no guarantees. So, keep checking back for those last-minute openings. You never know what you will find!

I hope this information was helpful. Be sure to stop by for any additional planning questions or tips

Sending you dining reservation pixie dust,
