We have reservations for the Dessert Party at Magic Kingdom in mid May. I have seen conflicting information on whether or not the table are pre-assigned based on reservation order. Correct or do we need to arrive very early to get desirable table?

Greetings, Kathy and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Three of my favorite things, being at Magic Kingdom Park, eating desserts and watching the fireworks show! I’m thrilled to hear you’ll be attending the Fireworks Dessert Party at Tomorrowland Terrace where you’ll enjoy delicious desserts and the spectacular fireworks soaring over Cinderella Castle.

My experience with seating was that tables were assigned as Guests made their Advance Dining Reservations online, or by calling (407) 939-3463 (subject to change). I tried to be vigilant by booking as close to my 180 day mark as possible for this reason. Once the fireworks began, many Guests migrated over to the terrace railing for a complete view of the fireworks and perhaps a sighting of Tinker Bell, who many times, flew directly overhead.

I recommend you check the fireworks schedule closer to your arrival and again upon your entry at Magic Kingdom Park that day and be sure to check-in 60 minutes prior to the fireworks show time at Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant. You will receive your Event Party Identification at check-in which is required for participation in the Dessert Party.

Have you heard about Early Morning Magic- Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom Park? You’ll be the first to enjoy select Fantasyland attractions and a bountiful breakfast!

We wish you a magical Dessert Party experience, Kathy and hope to be of assistance again soon!

    Magical Disney Wishes!
