We have reservations for this December. If parades, fireworks and dining is not back to normal, is there a cancellation clause to get my money back? We come to WDW and pay a lot of money for the whole experience. Plus, I can not wear a mask all day.

    Hi ya Lisa!

We’re so happy to hEAR from you today, thanks for stopping by. There are new changes happening at Walt Disney World Resort, but the Magic is still there! Many of my family’s favorite attractions are still available to enjoy in every park. You will also still be able to see some of your favorite Pals (in a new and exciting way) while visiting each park. You might even catch some of them at breakfast, while dining at Topolino’s Terrace-Flavors of the Riviera

If you are a foodie like myself, you will be happy to hEAR that many restaurants are still available to enjoy and dine at. You are able to make dining reservations at some of my favorite places like, Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant or Be Our Guest Restaurant, 60 days prior to your arrival. Dining is the perfect time to take a little break from your face covering as well!

If you find that you need additional breaks from your face covering, you will be able to enjoy any of the Relaxation Stations, located in every park. There, you will be able to remove your face coverings in a socially distanced area. I also recommend staying at a Disney Resort Hotel so that you may enjoy a longer break, from your face covering, in the comforts of your room. I recommend Disney’s Art of Animation Resort. The heavily themed rooms feel like you’ve never even left the parks!

Lisa, I do hope this helps you decide what is the best option for your upcoming visit. December is a few months away so you still have time to make your final decision on visiting then, or modifying your existing reservation, for a later date. I recommend calling the Walt Disney World Resort so that a Cast Member can help you determine what is the best route for you to take depending on the type of vacation package you booked.

Remember, you’ve always got a friend in me, and the rest of us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Please be sure to visit us again if you need any more help when it comes to planning for this trip or any of your future trips.
