We have reservations in December and have an extended family. Does the restaurants have accommodations for 13 people?

    Hi Connie!

Traveling to Walt Disney World with the entire family for reunions is the best vacation possible. Disney offers guests of all ages many fun things to see and do.

My own extended family numbers from 12-16 and you can certainly get reservations for dining at all of the Disney Dining Locations. It is often difficult to make reservations on line for a larger number. Some restaurants will not allow reservations to go beyond the maximum number of guests served at their largest table. For instance if their largest table only seats six guests then that is the most you can reserve for on line. Because of this I suggest you call the Disney Dining Reservation Number and allow a cast member to assist you with all of your plans.

Please be aware that when dining with a large group you most likely will be split up to 2-4 tables. My family actually finds this fun and exciting as we make a game out of it. Since you can't talk with the people at the far end of a long table anyway why not break up so you can easily talk to those around you. We have names on cards and when we check in and find out the table configurations we pull names to see who will be sitting with each other at each table. Infants stay with moms or dads but children of all ages can be a part of this getting to know each other. We were recently on another vacation together where our son of 38 asked if we could do this for a restaurant!

Dining is a time to relax and enjoy conversation and not be stressed about it. Large groups might take a few extra minutes to get set up so be patient and enjoy the food and the experience!
