    Have reservations at 5:15 on day of arrival at Chef Mickey's, would it be worth it to use a ticket to go to Magic Kingdom after dinner to watch the Electrical Parade and Fireworks even though we won't stay long with 4&7 yr old (tired from traveling) ki

    Hi, Becky! Arrival day is so much fun. So is eating ice cream. By doing dinner at Chef Mickey's on your first day there, you're getting the best of both worlds.

    If you have the extra day included as part of your park tickets, then I say go for it! If you don't, you're in a very advantageous position on property when you're at the Contemporary. This puts you on the monorail line, where you can zip on over to the Polynesian and/or Grand Floridian where you can watch the fireworks spectacular, Wishes, from their beach shores. Watching Wishes from a beach would also help in getting you back to your home resort in a more efficient manner than exiting the park.
