    We have reservations at crystal palace for New Years Eve 2011, is their alcohol served any where in the Magic Kingdom for a toast, or are we out of luck. Also any tips as far as times to be at the park, we have heard it gets busy.

    Hi Karen:

    There is no alcohol inside the Magic Kingdom, including in the restaurants.  Other Parks serve alcohol, but the Magic Kingdom is kept alcohol-free to ensure that adults and children can have carefree fun together.

    My biggest tip about what time to be at the Park for New Years Eve is to "get there early."  Magic Kingdom will likely be extremely crowded on New Years Eve, so I would get there as early as you can.  There is a large chance that the Park will stop admitting Guests due to capacity at some point, so I would be prepared not to leave the Magic Kingdom after you get there.  I don't have insight what time the Park may close to new Guests, but I'd get there as early as you can, ideally sometime in the morning, if possible.  Even a dining reservation inside the Magic Kindgdom may not guarantee admission if the Park is at capacity.  Although, I'd bring your confirmation number with you in case it helps.  But the best advice is to get to the Park before it reaches capacity.  The morning may be your best bet.
