Hi Rebecca! Welcome to planDisney!
I'm excited to hEAR about your upcoming trip to the
Walt Disney World Resort next year! I can't think of a better way to begin the year than walking down Main Street, U.S.A. heading toward Cinderella Castle. A trip to Disney is not complete without a visit to the Magic Kingdom!
The Crystal Palace is a fantastic place to dine whether it be for breakfast, lunch, or dinner! The breakfast buffet has all of the classic items that you come to expect, including the world-famous Mickey waffles, which are a must-try every single visit!
With Magic Kingdom slated to open at 9 AM on this day, Guests with
Early Theme Park Entry are allowed to enter 30 minutes in advance of this time. The Magic Kingdom will typically let all Guests enter the park even before this time, mostly to enjoy Main Street, U.S.A. and to snag some pictures in front of the castle. Guests will be held in these areas until Early Entry begins. With this said, you should have no problem getting to The Crystal Palace in plenty of time before your reservation.
Even if Guests are held at the main entrance until the official park opening time, you can check with a Cast Member at the entrance to the Magic Kingdom and ask them about heading back there a bit earlier for your reservation. The Crystal Palace opens at 8 AM most days, so many Guests are allowed entry early in order to make it to their reservations in time.
Dining with Winnie the Pooh and friends is one of the best ways to start your day. This iconic location is absolutely beautiful and these unique character interactions are great. My wife is a huge fan of Eeyore and getting a picture of our girls with him was a must on our last trip.
Rebecca, I hope you have a magical time during your trip next year!
