    We have reservations at Crystal Palace at 8:15 am, but MK doesn't open til 9. Should we rely on WDW transportation to get us there in time, or should we drive? About how long should we plan for transportation from AKL?

    Hi Morgan!

    I love eating breakfast at Crystal Palace before Magic Kingdom opens.   There is nothing more magical than walking down Main Street U.S.A. before the park opens! 

    You are probably concerned because you know that the bus transportation system doesn't start operating until one hour before the park opens.  Don't worry.  Check in with the front desk the day before and let them know you have an early morning breakfast at Crystal Palace the following day.  They will help secure transportation for you.

    The commute from Animal Kingdom Lodge to Magic Kingdom is approximately 20 minutes.  (You would need to allow additional time for parking and taking the monorail over to Magic Kingdom if you were driving.)
