We have reservations at the Crystal Palace in the Magic Kingdom for nearly an hour before the park opens. After we finish breakfast would be be allowed to go up onto the train station platform and watch the opening show? If so, is it visible from there?

    Hello fellow Granite Stater!

You have one of my favorite reservations, Crystal Palace before the park officially opens!  There is nothing better than that early morning stroll down a relatively empty Main Street.

I am guessing that you will be cutting it close time wise, we typically expect about an hour to dine at the Crystal Palace (and see all the characters).  If you think you can make it, you are more than welcome to make your way back down Main Street to try and catch the opening ceremony.  You will actually have to walk under the train station breezeways and view the ceremony from the the front of the station (just after the main gate turnstiles).  The characters are on the upper platform facing outward towards the gate/monorail area and the train will be behind them.

Hope this helps, enjoy your trip!
