    Reservations at 7 for coral reef want to do illuminations cruise. Is this enough time to eat and make it to out boat in time to make it to the dock or do I need to make dinner earlier? how long does it take roughly from start to end. Thanks

    Hi Dana,

    I always like to allot at least an hour to an hour and a half for a nice table service meal such as the one at the Coral Reef in Epcot. That takes into account that you might not be seated right at your reservation time and gives you the ability to enjoy your meal in a leisurely way. I hate being rushed through a delicious dinner.

    So, yes, I would definitely consider an earlier reservation, maybe more like 5:30 or 6 p.m., in order to get to the IllumiNations Cruise on time. Remember also that Coral Reef is in the front of the park and the dock to board the cruise is beyond the back entrance of the park. Be sure you give yourself time to make the cross-park trek.
