Hi Cindy!
Thanks for visiting planDisney with your question! You may already be
within your purchase window for Lightning Lane Passes, so let’s make sure everything is linked to your MyDisney account.
To link tickets to your My Disney Experience app, click the three horizontal bars in the bottom right corner of the app and scroll down to “Link to Account.” If your tickets have a barcode, you can use your phone’s camera to scan the barcode, or select “Type ID” to type in the ID number of your tickets. If you’re completing this process on the Walt Disney World website, there will be sample photos showing where to find the ID number on various ticket types. If you’re linking a Resort reservation, you can also enter your Resort reservation confirmation number and the last name on your reservation on the “Link to Account” page. If you’re having any difficulty linking your reservations to your account, I recommend calling the number listed under “
Tickets and Hotel Reservations” for assistance from a Cast Member.
If you’re staying at a Disney Resort, you can purchase your Lightning Lane Passes up to 7 days in advance of your arrival. If you’re not staying at a Disney Resort, you can purchase your Lightning Lane Passes three days in advance. You should see a Lightning Lane banner on the home page of your My Disney Experience app. There is a banner for Single Passes and Multi Passes, and a separate banner for
Premier Pass. You’ll select the date and theme park, then the guests you are including in the purchase. Each guest must be eligible to purchase Lightning Lanes, meaning they should have valid theme park admission and be within their purchase window.
Enjoy your upcoming visit, Cindy! I hope you have a great time using Premier Pass within the theme parks! I have some young ones in my family, so using Premier Pass is perfect for enjoying all the attractions in one area of the park before moving to the next section. If you need immediate assistance while you’re in the theme parks, please visit a
Guest Relations location or the
Guest Experience Team under the blue umbrellas in the theme parks. If you have any future questions, please come back to see us at
planDisney!
