We have reservations at Cinderella’s table at 7:00 and j just made reservations for the after party seats and treats at 8:20. Will be able to finish dinner and get to after party on time? Thanks so much!

Hiya Leayne - welcome to planDisney!

Thanks so much for stopping by with your very first question for our team of panelists! We absolutely love to help Guests just like you plan their magical Walt Disney World Resort vacations.

First, let me just say that I think you've got an amazing evening at Magic Kingdom Park planned - I'm jealous! While these plans are close to one another, I think there are a few things working in your favor that will make everything work out.

First, the Magic Kingdom 50th Fireworks Dessert Parties: Disney Enchantment Treats & Seats is located at Tomorrowland Terrace, which is a very short walk from your dinner at Cinderella's Royal Table so transit time should not be an issue. I suggest asking a Cast Member for the best path to take as you leave dinner - sometimes certain paths are temporarily closed as preparations are made each night for Disney Enchantment.

Second, you may want to keep checking to see if you can modify your dinner reservation to an earlier time. This would give you a bit more breathing room to have a leisurely dinner before the dessert party. If there isn't anything available, you may want to check in with the Cast Member at the host stand at Cinderella's Royal Table in advance of your reservation time. If it were me, I would stop by around 6:00 p.m. to explain the situation and ask if my party could be seated promptly at 7:00 p.m. (or earlier) if there happened to be availability. I think you'd still be fine with your current reservation time, but it never hurts to provide that extra information to Cast Members!

Third, I would mention your desired time to depart dinner to your server at the start of your meal. That way, you'll all be on the same team making sure that your crew gets to enjoy both magical experiences without stress. Having your crew view the menu ahead of time to make their selections can also help save some time.

I'm so excited for you - this is going to be an absolutely magical end to your day at Magic Kingdom Park celebrating the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary! Please let me know if any other questions pop up that we can help answer.
