Mickey and Minnie Statues in Front of Cinderella's Castle During Fireworks

We have reservations at Cinderella’s Royal Table at 8:45pm. Will we still be able to see “Happily Ever After” firework show from inside the castle?

Well hello there, Aziza. Let's chat about finding your happily ever after.

Since fireworks during Happily Ever After take place over Cinderella Castle and the projections are projected onto it, you can only catch a few glimpses of the fireworks from inside the restaurant if you are dining by one of the windows. As such, if you'd like to see this amazing nighttime spectacular, which I highly recommend you do, I suggest you make your reservation earlier, around 7 p.m. This should give you a good amount of time to enjoy your meal with the Princesses and then find a spot for the show afterward. Also, if you are visiting Magic Kingdom Park on another evening during your trip, perhaps enjoy the show on another night.

I know that a reservation for Cinderella's Royal Table can be hard to come by. However, you can keep checking back for different reservations leading up to your trip and even during it. At the current time, you have up to 2 hours before your dining time to cancel. Just note that you will not be able to modify this reservation, only cancel it and make a new reservation. And since this restaurant charges you the full amount at the time you make your reservation, you would likely have to pay for the new reservation before you receive your refund for the first one. But if you're comfortable with that, keep checking the My Disney Experience mobile app for new reservations that may open up!

Now, here comes to tough part. What if you have to make a choice? Well, I love Happily Ever After. And I love the Princesses. So I feel this one deep in my soul (dramatic much?)...but I have to say, if you haven't done Cinderella's Royal Table, or you or someone (or both!) in your travel party is a giant Princess fan, I'd lean towards Cinderella's Royal Table. I mean, you're dining inside the Cinderella Castle, meeting and chatting with some wonderful ladies, and enjoying a magical meal. But my fingers are crossed you'll be able to find an earlier reservation or you can enjoy the fireworks on another night.

Aziza, enjoy every second (and bite) of your delicious meal with the Princesses. If you have any other questions, please feel free to send them my way.

You control your destiny, you don’t need magic to do it,
    Matt
