Hi, we have reservations for the Cinderella's Royal Table dining experience at 7:10 in MK in Oct. Can you tell me how long this dinner normally lasts? Would we have time to catch the iIlumiNation show at 9:00 in Epcot after? Thanks for your help!

    Emily:

I think you might be pushing it....

I always give myself a window of about an hour and a half when dining at the table service restaurants where I order from a menu, and I've found that Cinderella's Royal Table is slower than most.

Even if you got out at 8:30 p.m., it will take you about 10 minutes to walk out the front gate (add on an extra 5 minutes if there is a parade in progress) and then the ride on the monorail to Epcot is a good 20 to 30 minutes depending on your wait.  Once you get to Epcot, you've got about an 8- to 10-minute walk from the train station to the viewing point right outside Future World.  You'd arrive just in time for the final fireworks, but not worth all the hustle in my opinion.

What makes your dinner reservation at Cinderella's Royal Table so special is that it will more than likely allow you to leave the castle right in time to get a spot for Wishes.  If I were in your shoes, I'd savor the evening in the Magic Kingdom.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
