We have reservations at Chef Mickey's at 5:30 PM. How long should we allow for the meal and Character interaction? Are you free to stay as long as you like? THanks

    Hi Carol,

We ate at Chef Mickey's last month and it took about 45 minutes.  The expectation is that you will stay for as long as you would normally take to eat dinner.  That is going to vary for every family a bit.  Most families do wait until each character makes their way to their table.  The characters usually come in a cluster.  This works well because you are able to take a break from eating to greet each character.  Then you get some uninterrupted time to finish.  It will depend on your timing.  Sometimes the characters will come out shortly after you sit down and other times they will come out when you are finishing up.  If you are done with your meal and haven't seen everybody, just let your server know and he or she will be able to have the character stop by before you leave.

The character interactions only take a minute or so.  There are a lot of families to visit with.  Mickey and his friends usually will have time for an autograph, hug, and a photo.
