    If we have reservations at 7:30am for Chef Mickeys, if the Disney buses are not running yet, what are other options of transportation available? We are staying at POR in September.

    Hi there Marianne,

    Hakuna Matata (No Worries)!  Special buses will begin running as early as 6:30AM for this VERY reason. Just stop by the front desk the day before to let them know you will be needing early morning transportation for your Chef Mickey's reservation.  They will be able to provide you with information on when to expect the early bus to arrive.

    The early morning buses will drop off at the Magic Kingdom and from there, you can either take a short stroll to the Contemporary which is about a 10 minute walk, or you can board the RESORT monorail and disembark at the first stop, the Contemporary Resort.

    I would allow an hour for travel to Chef Mickey's just to be safe!
