We have reservations at Chef Mickey's B-fast at 11:00 am our first day in the park. We have our room reservation's at All Star Movies. When are we allowed to check into our rooms? Is there any way we can go to the park without checking into our rooms?

    Hi Alisa!
My son and I are like you and your family because we love to get right to a Park on our first day in Walt Disney World!  Normal check in time for all Walt Disney World Resorts is 3:00 pm or 4:00 pm (this varies by resort).  Sometimes rooms are available earlier than 3:00 pm.  You will need to go to the All Star Movies Resort to check in before you head out to a Park because your Park Tickets are on your room key, unless you purchased a room only package and you already possess Park Tickets.  Even if your room is not ready, you can leave your luggage with Bell Services and pick it up when you return from the Park.  There is also an online check in (www.disneyworld.com) that you can do within 10 days of your arrival to Walt Disney World, but if you do this, you still will have to go to All Star Movies to pick up your welcome packet, Park Tickets, and room keys.  Also Disney offers a new Mobile Room Ready Notification Service which sends a text or voice message to your cell phone when your room is ready.  You can ask for this notification when you check in.  I have checked in early, left my luggage with Bell Services, and headed to a Park many times on my trips and it works great.  It is really neat to receive a text telling you that your room is ready while you are having fun in the Parks.

I hope that you and your family have a magical time getting the most out of all that Walt Disney World has to offer on your next trip!
