    I would like to make reservations at the Chef Mickey restaurant. I notice that it is located in Contemporarty resort. Is there transportation from Magic Kingdom to this restaurant? How would we get to this location if we are not staying at a disney resort

    Hello and welcome to the Moms Panel!

    You will be happy to find that you can get to Disney's Contemporary Resort from the Magic Kingdom.  The Contemporary Resort is walking distance from the Magic Kingdom.  You may also utilize Disney's Monorail System which will pull right into the resort itself!  I literally mean that!  As you exit the Magic Kingdom, you can just take a left if you prefer the walk or you can just take a right which will lead you right to the Monorail System.  If you will not be staying at a Walt Disney World Resort, I would highly recommend a taxi if you will not be coming from the Magic Kingdom.
