I have reservations at Chef Mickey at 6:50 pm and then would like to go to Cirque Du Soleil at 9:00 pm... do you think I have time to do this or is it to much rush? considering eating time and travel time.

    Hi Jecci!

Thank you for visiting the Moms Panel!

I do think that you probably will not have enough time to finish your dinner, and meet all the characters at Chef Mickey's and then travel to Downtown Disney using Disney Transportation for the 9.00pm performance of Cirque du Soleil (you would need to be there around 20 minutes before show time).

I would allow at least one hour - and probably more, as there are many characters to meet - for your dining, and then it is recommended you allow 60 minutes to travel by bus from Disney's Contemporary Resort to Downtown Disney.  It could take much less, but it may not.

Something to consider, if you could finish your dining by around 8.00pm, you could take a taxi to Downtown Disney (Bell Services at the Contemporary Resort could organise this for you).

Chef Mickey's and Cirque du Soleil are two of my absolute favourites at Walt Disney World, and I hope you can find a way to enjoy both.

If you have any other questions, please come back and ask me - I would be happy to help you plan your magical vacation!
