I have reservations for Chef Mickey in July I have 2 kids 5, 3, it's at 8:30pm. I'm not sure is the restaurant located in Magic Kingdom? We will be in Magic Kingdom on the 18th and not sure if it's there.

Hello Peter!  Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.  Your kids are going to have so much fun dining at Chef Mickey's, it's a great place.

To get there, you will actually need to exit Magic Kingdom.  Chef Mickey's is located in Disney's Contemporary Resort, but don't worry it's very close.  In fact, you could walk there if you would like.  I've walked it several times and it usually takes me about 8-10 minutes to get there.  If you want to walk, when you exit Magic Kingdom you will just veer left and follow the walkway.  If walking doesn't interest you, you can also take the monorail to the Contemporary Resort - which your kids might really enjoy.  It's the first stop after Magic Kingdom and wont take too long to get their either.  When you exit Magic Kingdom, veer right toward the monorail and make sure you hop on the resort loop.

It's very easy to get to Chef Mickey's and I know you will have a wonderful time.  If you have any other questions, please come back and ask.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
