I have reservations at Chef Mickey during our stay but wondering if Cape May is a better choice. Touring plans gives Cape May better reviews and I've seen the same on other sites. I know Chef Mickey has 5 characters compared to the 3 at Cape May. Thoughts?

    Hi Heather!!

You have asked a great question about two wonderful restaurants!!!

As far as the food goes, I think that both of the breakfast buffets at Cape May Cafe and Chef Mickey's are about the same.  The main differences are in their atmospheres and character offerings.  The Cape May Cafe does have a smaller, more intimate feel to it compared to Chef Mickey's.  Chef Mickey's obviously does offer more characters in Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, and Pluto.  Cape May Cafe offers Minnie, Donald, and Goofy.  Please keep in mind that characters are subject to change without notice.  It depends on what you are looking for.  If you want the smaller, more quiet, and intimate restaurant, I would go with the Cafe May Cafe.  If you want the restaurant that has more of a celebratory atmosphere, then I would select Chef Mickey's.

I hope this helps you when making your choice!!

    Have a magical day!
