    We have reservations at Chef Mickey for dinner at 8:50pm, on the night of the day we arrive. How easy is it to get an earlier time as it gets closer? Going Halloween week.

        You are going to love dining at Chef Mickey's in the Contemporary Resort!  If you have a Advanced Dining Reservation at Chef Mickey's then I would encourage you to keep it even if you desire to get an earlier dining time because Chef Mickey's is extremely popular and hard to get.  Typically it is harder to get Advanced Dining Reservations for popular Walt Disney World restaurants the closer you get to your arrival date for your Walt Disney World vacation, but it does not hurt to try to see if an earlier time slot becomes available between now and the start of your vacation.  Sometimes Guests cancel or change their dining plans.  If an earlier opening becomes available, then you can cancel the later Chef Mickey's Advanced Dining Reservation (just make sure you book the new one before canceling the original one).
