We would like to make reservations for a character dinner at Disney World in the Magic Kingdom on March 7th, 2021. How do we do that? Shelley

    Hi Shelley! Welcome to planDisney!

You will be walking down Main Street, U.S.A. while taking in the beauty of Cinderella Castle in just a few days. I can almost smell the delicious scents from Main Street Bakery and hear the harmonies of The Dapper Dans right now! I'm so excited for you to take it all in!

As Walt Disney World progresses through the reopening of the theme parks and Disney Resort hotels in these unprecedented times, Character dining is slowly making its way back with various modifications. Currently, there are not any Character dining experiences operating in Magic Kingdom Park. Just a short walk or monorail ride away is Chef Mickey's in Disney's Contemporary Resort and this location is offering modified Character dining opportunities! Unfortunately, with only six days between now and your visit, the availability of reservations will be difficult to find. However, you never know when another Guest's last-minute cancellation will open up a table!

I encourage you to keep checking availability by visiting the dining reservation page on the Walt Disney World website (I have linked it for you above). You will need to sign in to your My Disney Experience account and you can check specific locations for your date, preferred mealtime, and the number of people in your party. You may not find a lot of availability for Table-Service restaurants, but keep checking! And if you don't get any dining reservations, no worries! There are quite a few Quick-Service locations that don't require reservations and are absolutely delicious.

Enjoy your visit, Shelley! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
