Hi Alisha!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
No visit to “The Most Magical Place on Earth” is complete without a meal with Mickey Mouse and his gang or a royal feast with Disney Princesses!
Children 3 and older having a meal at a
character dining location are also charged due to character entertainment. Once I had a dinner reservation at 1900 Park Fare and ended up not eating because I was feeling sick, but I still had to pay. You may talk to your server and explain the situation, but please note that it is not guaranteed that you will not be charged.
I have a very, very picky eater at home, so I usually recommend making reservations for breakfast at character dining locations that offer a buffet, such as Chef Mickey’s, Hollywood & Vine, The Crystal Palace, 1900 Park Fare, The Crystal Palace, Cape May Cafe, and Tusker House Restaurant. My daughter enjoys going through all the offerings, and she usually finds plenty of classic breakfast items that are popular with kids. Also, breakfast is usually cheaper than lunch and dinner!
If you are concerned about a
special dietary need, please know that most dining locations can accommodate common allergies and special requests. You may speak directly with the chef, and even reach out to the Special Diets team ahead of your visit by writing to
Special.Diets@DisneyWorld.com. They will help you navigate the dining process and make your experiences delicious and safe!
I hope this helps you while planning, Alisha! Please stop by real soon if you have more questions!
Best magical wishes,
Thiana
