I want to make reservations for the char lunch at tusker house for a party of 9 which includes 1 infant at noon. All that is available is for a party of 8. Do you think it will be ok to make the reservation for 8 and then ask for a high chair for infant?

    Hi Erica!

I'm excited to hear that you are planning on visiting Tusker House Restaurant. It is one of my family's favorite restaurants at Disney's Animal Kingdom. We love the wide variety of tasty option for Guests to enjoy at every meal and it's so much fun to meet Donald Duck and his friends in their adorable safari outfits!

When making dining reservations, your reservation should include all Guests who will be enjoying the dining experience, including the littlest Mouseketeers. So for your group, you will need a reservation for nine Guests to ensure that there is plenty of room at your table for everyone, including your little one's high chair. If you make a reservation for eight Guests, you can ask to be accommodated with your party of nine, but it's not guaranteed that they will have a table large enough and you may have to wait for a table to become available.

I recommend that you continue to search for reservations as your vacation approaches because, in my experience, additional reservations become available as your vacation date gets closer. Be sure to download the My Disney Experience mobile app because it's the easiest way to manage your reservations and make new reservations, even during your trip!

Come back to see us if we can help you again. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
