We have reservations for Carribbean Beach resort and have been told that you cannot actually get out on the "beach"/sand areas or near the water. Is this true?

    Hi Kellye,
I was just at the Caribbean Beach resort and it was fabulous!  You will love it.

What you heard is not entirely true.  The entire resort is build around a beautiful lake.  Each section of the resort does have a sandy beach which you are free to play on.  You can get near the water, but not IN the lake water.  To cool off, you may only swim in the resort pools.  There is a resort pool in each Caribbean 'village', plus a fantastic pirate pool at the central resort area (called Old Port Royal Centertown, where you will also find the restaurants, arcade and gift shops).

Kellye, have a fantastic family vacation!
