I have reservations at California Grill for 9:05pm on 6/26/2022. Will we be able to see the fireworks during dinner even though we are not part of the "50th Flavors and Fireworks party?

Hey Howdy Hey Nezar and welcome to planDisney!

California Grill at Disney's Contemporary Resort is such a fantastic and delicious experience. Not only is the food amazing, but you also get stunning views of Magic Kingdom and Seven Seas Lagoon. As you noted, if you time your reservation right, you might also get a phenomena view of the Disney Enchantment nighttime show while dining! There are some considerations you should be aware of and options to keep in mind as well.

The biggest thing to keep an eye on is the scheduled time for Disney Enchantment. As it stands now, the show is set to begin at 9:20 p.m. EST depending on the weather. This may change as you get closer to your date of travel so just keep an eye on the start time. If you are in the restaurant at the time the show starts you might have a couple of options. Depending on your seat, you can always sit back and relax as the lighting is dimmed and the music from the show is pipped in for a fully immersive experience! Of course, those that purchase the Celebration at the Top: 50th Flavors and Fireworks at Disney's Contemporary Resort reservations get priority seating for the show, you still will be able to get a great view because of the spectacular window view from the restaurant in general.

You might also have the opportunity to visit California Grill Observation Deck. This is a walkway outside of the restaurant for views from the top of the Contemporary for the nighttime shows. Guests that have reservations at California Grill that day are usually allowed to revisit for access to this area which may fill up towards showtime. Because of the location, there really is no bad seat in the house and I am sure you will have a great experience. You might also ask your server for their opinion as you begin your dining experience. They are very attentive to expectations from Guests and often have insider advice on the best place to see the show from the restaurant.

Best Wishes with your continued planning for your trip and if you have any further questions, please feel free to let us know, we would be happy to help!

    Happy planning,

    Nick
