Mom and Daughter at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort Room

    We have reservations at the California Grill on Feb. 20th at 7:45pm with our 6 yr. old daughter who will be visiting disney for the 1st time. Is that a good time to also view the fireworks that night? Do I need to make any special table requests?

    Hi Angie!

         My son and I love California Grill at the Contemporary Resort!  Wishes is scheduled for 10:00 pm on Monday, February 20th, 2012.  Dinner at California Grill can take between 1 1/2 to 2 hours or more, so you could feasibly finish dinner between 9:15 pm to 9:45 pm, which would be perfect for going out on the outdoor balcony of California Grill to view Wishes or you can watch Wishes right from your table if you have a table near a window. When you check in, you can request a table near a window.

    I hope that your California Grill dinner is truly magical!
