Hey there, Lindsay!
Welcome back! I was excited to see another question from you. I hope that you're enjoying planning your trip, you're almost there!
There is always a possibility that the theme parks could reach capacity, but one of the benefits of the
theme park reservation system is that crowds are much more predictable. Since park reservations are limited, the risk of a park hitting capacity is much lower. But you're right to be careful! I would suggest that if you want to hop from Disney California Adventure Park over to Disneyland Park you just make a quick stop at
Guest Relations at the Chamber of Commerce on Buena Vista Street on your way to the front entrance. The Cast Members there should be able to tell you if Disneyland Park is open for park hopping before you've left Disney California Adventure Park! I don't think you'll have issues park hopping, but a quick stop at Guest Relations can save you some extra steps, just in case. Like Edna Mode says, "Luck favors the prepared!"
Since you'll already be at Disney California Adventure Park, you might want to do lunch with a
Sip and Savor Pass! I love how easy it is to share these passes with a friend, and you don't even have to use all the tabs on the same day. Take a look at the
Disney Eats Foodie Guide on the Disney Parks Blog to plan your perfect menu! I have my eye on the Fresas con Crema churros near Goofy's Sky School. Fresh strawberries on top of a churro? Yes, please!
Thanks again for your question, Lindsay! I hope you'll have a delicious and festive visit to the parks!
Keep moving forward!
Amanda
