Matt from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

We had reservations to Ca Adv but had to cancel. At the time I was told that if we changed our minds we could not re-book. Is this true or would we need to go to the other park?

    Hello there, Matt!

Thanks for bringing your Disneyland Resort question to planDisney. Your trip will be here before you can say “bibbidi-bobbidi-boo!” I hope you’re looking forward to experiencing all the magic that awaits you at the Happiest Place on Earth.

It sounds like you were advised to be sure you wanted to cancel your theme park reservation before attempting to change it because once a reservation day is released, there’s no way to “undo” the cancellation and no guarantee you’ll be able to get the same reservation day and/or park again if you wanted to reschedule it. That said, it doesn’t necessarily mean you won’t be able to secure a new theme park reservation for Disney California Adventure Park-- it all depends on the current availability. You’re welcome to check the Theme Park Reservations Availability Calendar at any time to see what your options are, and then book a new day that works for you.

I hope this helps, Matt, and that you’re able to enjoy a pixie dust-packed day in the theme parks very soon! Please don’t hesitate to ask us any other planning questions you may have.

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
