How do I make a reservations and buy tickets

Hiya pal! Oh boy! I'm so thrilled you have a visit to the Happiest Place on Earth in the works!

Thank you for stopping by planDisney with your question! We're Disney Guests, just like you, who provide helpful tips and heartfelt advice, as well as share our experiences to help you have a magical Disney vacation!

Currently, to visit Disneyland Resort you'll need both a valid theme park ticket, as well as a theme park reservation for each day you plan to visit, so nice work getting started!

To purchase your theme park tickets, visit the Disneyland website or through the Disneyland app. After purchasing your tickets on the Disneyland website, you may choose to receive either a physical ticket or a Disney eTicket. There's also the option to purchase your theme park tickets in person at the Disneyland Resort ticket booth on the Esplanade. However, you should know, this option is risky if you're planning to visit the parks that day, as park reservations are required for entry, and there may not be availability.

Speaking of park reservations, to make your theme park reservations, you'll need to first link your theme park ticket to your Disney Account. Simply hover over "My Disneyland" at the top of the Disneyland website and select "Link Tickets." You'll then be asked to enter your ticket ID number. After your tickets are linked, head over to "Make or Modify Park Reservations" and select "Book Theme Park Reservation" to begin the selection process. Hope that helps!

You should know that there is an incredible Disneyland Anniversary Ticket Offer available right now for Guests visiting the parks through August 14, 2025, that you may want to check out and see if it might work for your upcoming trip. It's a great deal if you're planning on visiting the parks 3 or 4 days!

If you're looking for more ways to maximize the magic (and aren't we all!), I recommend enlisting a professional to help with your Disneyland vacation. An Authorized Disney Vacation Planner specializes in planning trips to Disney parks. These experts have in-depth training specifically in Disney destinations and can assist you in purchasing theme park tickets, securing park reservations, making dining reservations, and much more. What I love about these amazing individuals is that their pixie-dusted services come at no additional charge to you than if you booked it yourself. Incredible!

I hope I was able to provide some helpful information for you, my friend! As you continue to prepare for a visit to Disneyland, I'd love to share more of my tips and recommendations for a truly magical time at the Happiest Place on Earth during "Celebrate Happy" at Disneyland's 70th Celebration! Disney went all out on this party of the decade! I'm especially blown away by the entertainment offerings. The Muppets even have a nighttime show right before World of Color Happiness! and it's everything we hoped it would be.

Feel free to reach out to me with any other questions. I could talk about Disneyland all day.

    See you real soon!

    Warmest wishes,
    McCayla

Hello from the Pacific Northwest! I'm McCayla, a wife and mom dreaming of adventure in the great wide somewhere, yet also completely content watching Toy Story from the couch. My love of Disneyland began as a little girl on Peter Pan's Flight and only grows with each visit. But even when I'm not physically at the Happiest Place on Earth, I truly feel that same joy when I can help others (YOU!) experience the magic of Disneyland Resort too.
