We have reservations for breakfast at Chef Mickey's & I'm wondering if we are able to keep our vehicle parked there & take the monorail over to the park or what is our best option?

Hi Jennifer!  Because there were so many guests leaving their cars at the Contemporary, Polynesian, Grand Floridian, Yacht and Beach Club and Boardwalk resorts to head to the parks  they have become much more strict on parking.  When you arrive for your reservation time for Chef Mickey's they will check to confirm that and then give you a parking pass that is good for two hours.  Your option for parking for the day is to park first in the Magic Kingdom parking lots and take the monorail to the Contemporary or return to the lot after breakfast and park then.

My suggestion would be to park first if time allows and monorail to the Contemporary resort.  You can enjoy your breakfast and spend as much time looking around the resort before heading over to the Magic Kingdom.  I would use the short walkway that basically follows the monorail track to get to the entrance of the park.
