    I have reservations for my boys (5&3) & my DD(7) at the Pirates League in August. Are the costumes mandatory? All of the ones I've seen in pics online look very warm for the humid/hot weather of Summer. I dont want the kids to melt in the Magic Ki

    Hi Tara,

    The Pirates League is so much fun! Your kids are going to have a wonderful time. Costumes are not mandatory at all. If your kids want to just get the make-over while in their regular clothes, they are more than welcome to do that. When my kids did Pirates League last October, we found that the majority of the guests did wear costumes, so I'd hate for your children to feel left out. Perhaps you can pick them up new Pirates of the Caribbean or Jack Sparrow t-shirts to wear? That way they still have something pirate themed and you can explain to them that it's too hot for a costume.
