I have reservations booked in mid April for Sanaa for 6:45. As it’s currently Jan and I’m in the northeast I can’t quite figure out if it will still be light out at that time 2 1/2 months from now. We want to make sure we are able to see the animals. TIA!

    Hi Carey,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! April is one of my favorite months to visit the Walt Disney World Resort. The weather is fantastic and the flowers are all in full bloom. It's also my birth month so I try to convince my family to visit in April!

Another great thing about visiting in April is the sun sets a bit later in the evening. I checked and it seems like the average sunset in April over the last few years is 7:45 P.M. This means you should be able to see some of the animals on the savannah when you dine at Sanaa. It is truly worth the visit to Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village to enjoy an amazing meal while viewing exotic wildlife. If you haven't already heard, the bread service at Sanaa is legendary. My mouth is watering just thinking about it!

If you have time before your dinner, I love the Sanaa Lounge for a cocktail. The atmosphere is so inviting and the drinks are delicious. If you'd like to see more of the area, you could stop by Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. I think it's worth a visit just to experience the architecture and details. We also enjoy the Victoria Falls Lounge that overlooks Boma - Flavors of Africa. It's a lovely place to wind down your evening.

Carey, thank you for visiting us with another great question. As you continue to plan your vacation, I hope you'll let us know if we can help you with any more questions.
    Wishing you a magical vacation,
    Amy H.
