hi there! We have reservations for 8am at BOG but the park doesn't open until 9. Can you please explain how this works? Are we able to enter the park early?

    Hi Erin,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We are delighted that you brought this question to us.

Congratulations to you for making a dining reservation at Be Our Guest restaurant prior to park opening. Yes, you can get into the park prior to 9:00 a.m. for your dining reservation. However, there have been some changes to Magic Kingdom Park's opening.

The Walt Disney World Resort has introduced a morning show called Let the Magic Begin. Guests can now enter the park one hour prior to park opening and can enjoy selected shops and restaurants on Main Street.

Since your reservation is at 8:00 a.m., I suggest you arrive at least 20 minutes prior to ensure that you get into the park before the crowd. When you arrive at the park, check in with a cast member and explain that you have an 8:00 a.m. advanced dining reservation. The cast member will show you where guests should enter who have pre-park opening dining reservations. The last time we visited, check-in for guests with early dining reservations was to the far left at the entrance. A cast member with a notepad checked off our name once we arrived.

On our last visit, our pre-park opening breakfast reservation at Magic Kingdom was at the Crystal Palace. We loved getting into the park before the crowds and took some time to take photos on our way to the restaurant. Be sure to get a photo with a PhotoPass photographer if you can!

I do hope you have a magical time!
