Hi Eugene! In just a few short days you'll be staying at Disney's Pop Century Resort and having a fun-filled vacation. You must be SO excited!
It sounds like you'll be traveling via
complimentary bus transportation from Magic Kingdom Park. You will want to take the bus to Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside.
Boatwright's Dining Hall is located close to the lobby and a Cast Member will be happy to point you in the right direction if needed. Be sure to allow yourself plenty of travel time to ensure you don't miss your reservation. I like to start making my way to a dining reservation at a resort hotel extra early, 1-1.5 hours early, to keep stress levels down and give me the opportunity to explore the resort hotel a little bit.
When you are ready to leave, there is
complimentary water transportation to Disney Springs. If for any reason the boats are not running, there are also buses that can transport you to Disney Springs or any of the theme parks. From there, you can hop on a bus back to Disney's Pop Century Resort.
Now to the important part - dessert! Both options that you mentioned are weaknesses of mine. If I can't have them both, then I would get the Bourbon Street Pecan Tart at Boatwright's Dining Hall. After traveling to Disney Springs, I would stop by the
Ghirardelli Ice Cream & Chocolate Shop to pick up something for later in the chocolate section. Often, they hand out a complimentary sample of chocolate as well. SO good!!
Enjoy your trip!
Tabitha
