How do I make reservations for Blizzard Beach for this coming April 2nd?

Hello, Martine. I am so excited that as of earlier this month, Blizzard Beach Water Park has officially reopened for the season. I am a huge fan of the Walt Disney World Water Parks and Blizzard Beach is just so much fun. At this time, Martine, you don't have to make a park pass reservation to visit Blizzard Beach. Now, this might change in the future but for now, all you have to do is show up with a water park ticket the day you want to enjoy.

Blizzard Beach is very excited to be welcoming Guests again, but there are a few safety protocols put into place to keep all Guests safe. When you are entering Blizzard Beach water park, it is required for you to have a face covering over your nose and mouth. You'll go through a temperature screening and will be asked to keep physically distant from other Guests during your visit. Face coverings will also be required when entering retail and food and beverage areas. You may remove your Face Coverings in dining areas only when you are actively eating and drinking. Face coverings, however, will not be permitted on any of the water slides or in the water. I'd suggest bringing a small dry bag to put them in at your chair so they don't get soaked throughout the day.

When you are visiting Blizzard Beach Water Park, be sure to take a ride on the chairlift that takes you up to the top of Mount Gushmore. It provides really fun views of the water park and was actually the first chairlift built in Florida. Teamboat springs is also another fun attraction to experience while at Blizzard Beach Water Park. This family raft ride is actually the is one of the world's longest. I can guarantee smiles and giggles around every corner on that one. And my favorite attraction of all time at Blizzard Beach are the Toboggan Racers. If you have any sort of competitive streak in you, you will love them too. Everyone gets their own toboggan, lays on their belly and then races down a hilly course for time, it's so much fun!  There is also some yummy food to enjoy at Blizzard Beach Water Park, but for me no trip there is complete without having some mini doughnuts rolled around in cinnamon and sugar. It's the ultimate water park treat.

Martine, I hope this helps you plan your day at Blizzard Beach a little better. If you have other questions about your trip, please feel free to come back and ask. Have fun!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
