How do I make reservations for Beak & Barrel during the Christmas party?

Ahoy there, Commodore Candace! Welcome to the friendly port of planDisney!

Thanks for sharing your query regarding the newest nautically themed addition to the Magic Kingdom, The Beak and Barrel. I had the opportunity to drop anchor at this rowdy pirate tavern on my last visit to the Vacation Kingdom, and after sampling the food and drink, I hope fair winds and following seas bring me back again in the near future.

I did a little digging to confirm, and there is no special process for making a reservation at The Beak and Barrel during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. Just like all dining locations, reservations can be made 60 days in advance of your visit, and for your entire length of stay if you are a guest at a  Walt Disney World Resort hotel or participating hotel. Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party officially starts at 7 PM, so you would need a party ticket to visit the Beak and Barrel after that time.

Based on your arrival date, it looks like the 60-day window has passed, and reservations to raise a glass with Captain Merry and Rummy are going quicker than you can say “Yo ho ho and a bottle of rum” (or bottle of eggnog if we’re being festive). But don’t give up hope! Keep a weather eye on the reservation page as your arrival draws near. You never know when a reservation will pop up as people adjust their vacation plans.

Commodore Candace, I hope you have an excellent vacation voyage to Walt Disney World and that you’re able to get a reservation during your party date. Sail right back if you have any other questions. Your mateys at planDisney are always here to lend a hand!

    Yo ho and magical travels!
