Are reservations available at walt disney world restaurants?

How ya doin' Merle and welcome to planDisney!

Every day is a great day to talk about Advanced Dining Reservations at the Walt Disney World Resort.  They're the perfect way to start your day with a magical meal, beat the afternoon heat, or sit down and swap stories at the end of a long day of memory-making.  You can get your family's reservations made 60 days prior to your arrival date. Your window opens up on August 9th so get ready. Reservations are usually released at 6 AM EST so I'd suggest being ready for 5:45 AM. I've seen availability start a few minutes early so it's better safe than sorry.

Now the closer I get to my September vacation the more my mouth is watering thinking about all the meals I've mapped out. Getting reservations for The BOATHOUSE, Yak and Yeti Restaurant, Chef Art Smith's Homecomin', and Jiko -  The Cooking Place all in a single vacation definitely deserves a pat on the back if I do say so myself. If you're looking for some good spots to try I personally recommend every one of these based on my past experiences, the exception being Jiko - The Cooking Place. I've never been there before and am super excited that they've finally reopened after a pandemic closure has kept me from giving them a try for the past couple of years.

Merle, I hope I've been able to help you today. If you have any other questions, please feel free to come back and ask me. I'm more than happy to help!

    Happy planning!
