Hello Moms! We have reservations in August at Copper Creek Villas. We are thinking about having a dinner and watching Hoop-Dee-Doo. Is it in walking distance? Otherwise how would you recommend us getting back and forth using Disney transportation? Thx!

    Howdy Mark!

You have made an excellent choice to stay at Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney's Wilderness Lodge. I'll be staying there on my next visit to Walt Disney World Resort, too. I simply can't get enough of that Northwest-inspired paradise. You're going to have so much fun!

The Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Review is a must-do, classic Disney experience. Did you know that it is the longest running dinner theater show in the United States? I sure hope you enjoy fried chicken and strawberry shortcake. In my opinion, they have the best on Disney property. It's a delicious meal served up hot and fresh with a side of slapstick humor and upbeat music. It's a night you will not soon forget.

I do not recommend that you walk between Disney's Wilderness Lodge and Pioneer Hall at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. I have biked that path and, while it is lovely for daytime exploration, I wouldn't travel it at night. It is not well-lit and there is a fair amount of wildlife one might encounter. Instead, take a short and extremely enjoyable boat ride between your resort and Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. Pioneer Hall is just a short walk from the Fort Wilderness boat dock. Just be careful not to board the boat headed to Magic Kingdom Park. It also picks up guests at that dock.

Wishing you a rootin', tootin' good time at the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Review,
    Jill
