Hi Casandra,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question. I’ve had the chance to dine at
1900 Park Fare at
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa several times. It’s one of my favourite character dining experiences, especially at dinner; Cinderella’s stepsisters are a real hoot!
Although the Grand Floridian is only one
Resort Monorail stop away from Magic Kingdom Park, I would still give yourself a good 45 minutes to get to the Park after dinner. You can’t see the fireworks from the restaurant at all and while you can see some of the bigger fireworks near the waterfront at that Resort hotel, it’s not a perfect view.
I’m not sure what day you’re going to be visiting Walt Disney World Resort, but taking a look at the
Park Hours for the month of April 2019, it seems as though
Happily Ever After is currently scheduled to start at 9:15 PM on most nights. You’ll want to get to the Park by 8:00 PM in order to get a good spot to watch the show. If your dining reservation is at 5:15 PM, you should have plenty of time to eat and then head over to Magic Kingdom Park for the evening’s festivities.
Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.
Have a Magical Day,
Lynne
