Hello, Carolyn and welcome to planDisney!
Carolyn, it looks like your Magical vacation is right around the corner and you may even be packing up your travel trailer at this very moment! I'm excited to hEAR that you're headed to Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas. My family and I stayed at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas- Kidani Village this past August and loved every moment we could spend on the savanna.
Now, Carolyn, before you're able to put down those bags, or head to
Sanaa for a bite to eat, you'll want to make sure your travel trailer is secured, so
let's talk about parking. Disney Vacation Club Members are not charged for standard overnight parking at
Disney Vacation Club Resorts (
whether they are using Membership points or staying as a cash guest) and that includes oversized vehicles such as travel trailers.
Upon arrival at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, you will want to check with a Cast Member at the Front Desk who will be able to provide directions where to park. The Cast Member at the parking podium may even guide you before you reach the main area. As you may be asked to park further away from the entrance, I encourage you to bring all that you need from your trailer into your villa with you.
Carolyn, for budgeting purposes, if you are not a Disney Vacation Club Member,
standard overnight parking fees will apply.
Best wishes for a safe drive and a wild stay at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas! Please come back and see us here at planDisney with any additional questions you might have. Just like the elephants you'll find on
Kilimanjaro Safaris, we are all EARS.
Lauren
