We have reservations at AK Kidani Villas in January. I've stayed at Jambo House before and loved it. I loved Boma and the Mara. We will be with children and worry about not having a food court type area at Kidani. How far is it from Kadani to Jambo?

    Hi Lori!

Kidani Village is a beautiful resort, and many guests absolutely love it.  The pool area and children's interactive water area is fabulous.  However, the one thing I don't like about it is the lack of a Quick Service restaurant.  Thus I usually recommend staying at Jambo House instead, unless you know you definitely won't need a Quick Service restaurant close by.

The two resorts are within walking distance but it is a long walk, and not particularly scenic.  When I walked it, it took about 15 minutes (about half a mile) and that was at a fairly quick pace; it will take much longer with children, especially young children.  You can take a bus between the two resorts.  From Jambo House, you just need to jump on any theme park bus making it relatively easy to get back to Kidani Village.  However, to get from Kidani Village to Jambo House, you have to wait specifically for a Downtown Disney bus.

Enjoy planning and write back if you have any more questions!
