    Are reservations being accepted to the animal kingdom lodge for summer 2021?

    Hello Judy! Welcome to planDisney! I'm glad you brought your question to us today!

    At the present time, Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is not taking reservations. However, Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas at Kidani Village is accepting new reservations! If you are already of fan of Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge then you will love the experience offered to Guests of Kidani Village! There is also a very helpful list of Disney Resort Hotels that are currently open and/or taking new reservations located on the Walt Disney World Resort website.

    Judy, it sounds like you are excited for either a return or a first-ever visit to Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge! From the awe-inspiring first sight upon walking into the main entrance to the graceful animal inhabitants who call the Animal Kingdom Lodge their home, this is truly a beautiful Disney destination! The Walt Disney World Resort continuously monitors the situation and will reopen additional resorts when the time and environment are right to do so. Let's hope Animal Kingdom Lodge is among the next group of Disney Resort Hotels to open! Check the Disney Parks Blog and the Walt Disney World Resort website frequently for updates!
