Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Rhonda!

Sounds like you have an exciting morning planned at Disney's Hollywood Studios!  We were just there yesterday for Stars Wars Weekends and had a blast!

I feel the force is strong in your young Padawan.  He will love Jedi Training Academy.  They do require that participants be present during the sign up process.  At that time, Cast Members ask them a couple of questions to make sure they will be able to follow basic directions once they are on stage.  The Jedi Training Academy stage is completely open on one side and the front so Padawans need to be able to listen to their Jedi Master so that they will know where to stand during their training and while they are battling Darth Vader.  That helps ensure the safety of the participants and performers.

If your reservations at Hollywood & Vine are at 8:00 a.m., you may be able to finish your breakfast in time to head over to Jedi Training Academy registration at 9:00 a.m. or shortly thereafter.  Perhaps you and your son can at least head over to sign up while the rest of your family finishes and pays the bill.  Unless you're visiting during a peak season, you should be okay if you're not there right at 9:00 a.m.

Please feel free to visit us with all of your planning questions.  It is our pleasure to assist you!

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
