Welcome to planDisney, Abigail.
How exciting that you're taking your two Padawans to
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. I'm sure they'll be in awe of the immersive theming of this intergalactic land. When my family visited Batuu for the first time, my own
young kids loved simply exploring the nooks and crannies of the Black Spire Outpost. Just keep an eye out for those Stormtroopers! They're always looking to recruit the young folks to the Dark Side.
A reservation for
Savis' Workshop is a must-do experience for any Jedi in training. At this time, only
one Guest is allowed to accompany him for this experience. At the Walt Disney World Resort, children under the age of three are considered "Guests of Mickey" and, therefore, they may accompany their parents/guardians for the Savi's Workshop experience. However, since your daughter is three years old she would not be able to accompany you, I'm afraid. Space in the workshop is extremely limited (real estate ain't cheap in Batuu). I realize that's not the answer you were hoping for, Abigail.
If Savi's Workshop doesn't work out this time around, then you might be pleased to know that your son can still build his own lightsaber at
Tatooine Traders. Although this experience is different from Savis' Workshop, I'm sure your son's joy will still soar to infinity and beyond.
On my most recent family trip to
Disney's Hollywood Studios, we all went on
Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway and had a blast! It was such a fun ride for the whole family.
Thanks for stopping by planDisney, Abigail. May the Force be with you!
