I have a reservation for a week. Can I request the arrival date to be move two days later and leave at my original departure date.

Hey there, Larry, and welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by the panel with your question! One thing I love about Walt Disney World Vacations is, they make it really easy to work through changes. Olaf said it best in Frozen II, “Things keep on changing.” But there’s no need to worry - Hakuna Matata - Disney is there to work with you through the changes.

Larry, without knowing more details regarding your vacation and how close you are to your arrival date, I can’t definitively say whether changes can be made to your reservation. If you have unused Theme Park Tickets, you can modify the ticket start date through your My Disney Experience account. However, if you are looking to modify a Disney Vacation Package reservation, which includes Theme Park Tickets and a Disney Resorts Collection hotel reservation, I recommend speaking with a Reservations Cast Member for assistance. The Cast Member will have access to view your reservation and provide you with the modification options available to you. One caveat is that if you booked your reservation through an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner, you will have to work with the planner to make the modification to your reservation on your behalf. I’m confident that we can find a viable solution to still get you to the parks! After all, my goal is to help get you to the Disney fun!

I hope this helps, Larry! If you have more questions while planning your Disney Vacation, stop back by and let me know

You’ve got a friend in me,
