How do I make a reservation for a WDW resort?

    Hi Amy,

Welcome to planDisney! I'm happy to help you get started on your Walt Disney World vacation journey.

You'll find a resort designed for all tastes and budgets across the Disney properties. They range from the fun, bright value resorts like the All Star resorts and Pop Century to the immersive themes of the moderate resorts like Coronado Springs and Port Orleans to the elegance, proximity and added benefits of deluxe resorts and villas such as Animal Kingdom Lodge, Saratoga Springs and the Grand Floridian.

I'd suggest perusing the list of resorts first to see what characteristics, locations and price ranges fit your family's needs.

Once you narrow down your choices, you can make your reservations directly on the Walt Disney World website, adding tickets, dining plans or other benefits as part of the process. Make sure you check out any special offers that will apply to the time of your visit.

If that seems overwhelming -- and, believe me, it can seem like a lot of decisions at once -- you can always contact a cast member at Disney ticket and reservations to walk you through.

Once you have the logistics settled, Amy, then the real fun begins. You can start dreaming about the meals you will eat, the attractions you will ride and the memories you will make in the midst of the Walt Disney World magic.

Please check back with us if you have more questions about specific resorts, restaurants or theme parks. We're delighted to share our recommendations from our years of Disney experience with our own families.

    Happy planning!
