There is no better way to cool off than by visiting
Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park! I still can't believe the Disney Imagineers found a way to preserve all of the snow from that once-in-a-lifetime snowstorm that hit the Walt Disney World Resort! And, of course, the Imagineers found so many ways to make that snow enjoyable for Guests! My favorite is still
Summit Plummet! Riding that attraction always makes dad a "hero!"
David, at the present time, it is not necessary for Guests to make a
Disney Park Pass reservation to visit Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park. The park is open for Guests to visit as they please! You can also visit the water park and one of the four Disney Parks on the same day! If you choose to do this, I recommend visiting the water park during the morning and/or afternoon and then going to a park that is open later in the evening. For example, EPCOT tends to be open later than other Disney Parks, while Disney's Animal Kingdom tends to close earlier.
In addition to not needing a Disney Park Pass reservation for Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park, Guests holding
Park Hopper tickets are not required to make a reservation for the second theme park that they will be visiting later in the day. However, Guests with Park Hopper tickets must still make a Disney Park Pass reservation for the park they wish to visit first during each day of their stay.
