    hello we have reservation in walt disney world swan hotel this coming july want to ask if i can use our disney gift card in the hotel

    Hey, howdy, hey Maria Donna, and welcome to planDisney. Disney's EPCOT area hotels have become my go-to place to stay when we are traveling as a family. My kids love Disney's Hollywood Studios and this location has perfect access to walk or boat there. We have made the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin our homes on more trips than I can count.

    Because the Walt Disney World Swan, Dolphin, and Swan Reserve Hotels are operated by Marriott they do not accept Disney Gift Cards as payment on-site for hotel stays or in any of their merchandise and dining location with one exception. We have used a Disney Gift Card at Disney Sundries and Gifts located inside the Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel.

    planDisney Pro Tip: I know I said that you cannot use Disney Gift Cards to pay for hotel stays at the Walt Disney World Swan, Dolphin, and Swan Reserve Hotels if you are on-site but you can use them to pay for stays if you book through the Walt Disney World Resort website.
